Our History
No sport has a finer legacy of artwork than golf. Since 1989, we have continued to foster this tradition–publishing limited edition golf art for private courses across the United States. Our online store boasts one of the largest collections of golf themed prints you’ll find anywhere.

1989
A golf enthusiast from Norristown, PA named Bill Vare has a novel idea–What if he could start a business that would be a risk free way for golf country clubs to commission an original artwork to be hung in their clubhouse? From out of his garage a company was born.

1997
Bill Vare realized his “field of dreams” by opening the first gallery devoted exclusively to golf art. After years of publishing limited edition
landscape paintings for private golf clubs, Vare had assembled the largest collection of golf prints under one roof.

2009
Country Club Editions changes hands and under new ownership continues to grow its offerings to include a comprehensive tournament prize program. The 2013 U.S. Open marks a watershed moment for the business as it is selected to provide framing and engraving services for Merion Golf Club throughout the event.

2016
Kurt Shenk becomes the current proprietor of the company, with a mission to revitalize and streamline the way artwork is commissioned for country clubs. Members can now own a unique painting of a scene at their club with just a few taps on their smartphone.
