 ABOUT THE ART PROGRAM

Commission a Unique Painting for Your Club

No sport has a finer art tradition than golf. The historic clubs of the British Isles and early 20th century American clubs fostered a golf art tradition that continues today.  At Country Club Editions, we work with nationally known, award-winning artists that can similarly memorialize your club’s signature hole as a one of a kind landscape painting.

Commissioning a painting for your club requires no investment on your part. Our program is a risk free way to ensure you will have a stunning original painting to proudly display in the clubhouse for years to come.

Kickstart the Art Program for Your Club Today

To begin the process of commissioning a painting, you should first read over our financial facts page.  The painting falls under club ownership after its value is matched by sales of a limited edition print series.  We will assist you in this aspect by providing all the necessary marketing materials.

During the initial consultation meeting our representative will photograph your course.  We will follow up with you soon after to choose the best possible reference scene to supply the artist.  Before the painting is finalized you will be given the opportunity to approve the artwork.

Once the painting is completed, we produce a limited series of 225 giclée prints derived from the original. Each is individually signed and numbered by the artist. Two consignment samples will be shipped to your club for members to view in the proshop.  These samples assist your members to see some of the print sizes and framing options available to them.

Coinciding with the samples, we will supply you with a digital e-flier which links to an ordering website set up specifically for your club’s members. The site enables them to choose from a number of pre-selected samples, or completely customize the print.  Our frame and matting selection is carefully curated to appeal to both classic and contemporary tastes.  The site is also secure, as all billing is done through your proshop.

The Highest Quality Printing and Framing Options

At Country Club Editions we only use the finest quality materials.  Our giclée manufacturing process utilizes archival inks printed on 100% acid-free cotton paper and canvas. Our framing both protects and acts as a subtle intermediary between the art and it’s surroundings. When coupled with acid-free mats and true fine wood frames, these prints are sure to last for decades to come.

Once completed, you may request a digital copy of your painting for use on a website, scorecard or other stationary.  Many clubs add a dedication plate to a framed edition as a gift for exiting members.  We can also create a smaller sized “open” edition print to be used as tournament prizes for members.  Some of the options available can be explored by clicking here.
